OK... Let me tell you a story.... I gave my driver license to the poll worker. She placed a green memory card in the terminal and said "please sign here". I ask "is all my information going to that memory card?". Oh YES we have all your information. So I took the little green memory card over to the ballot station knowing that I had no idea what was being copied into the ballot machine. Maybe a unique number pointing to all my information, age, date of birth, address, my cats name, my dogs name and how I travel. OK so I voted and print the ballot with a special QRcode that I took a photo. Now I'll at the least see the data on the QRcode which is as good as a memory card for moving data. I feel a lot better now I said to myself. I feed the paper ballot into the scanner. When I got home I scanned the QRcode image and and see that it's in a full binary code. Maybe even encrypted that requires a special password. Or maybe even a little part of it encrypted for some special purpose by someone extra special. The feeling comes over me that I've been "had" by a magic cyber wizard using slight of byte to trick me into showing my vote to someone special. Our voting system should be designed to prohibit even the "remote" possibility of showing how each of us vote. That is not the case today. I want to know what types of information are on the "little green memory card". I want to know what types of information are on the special QRcode. I want to "trust but verify" all this magic cyber slight of BYTE. Please call your state rep and ask them to find out what is going on here. PS: I'm looking to file a class action lawsuit of the State of Georgia, Laurens County, The Governor, The Secretary of State, My Representative, My Congressman, My Senator and all responsible for "Marking" my voter ballot with a unique mark identifying my ballot out of all the ballots cast. In other words it's possible to find my ballot in a stack of millions of ballots when it should be private by law. The Mark being the QRcode.
